Reiki Jin Kei Do

Reiki Jin Kei Do is the spiritual lineage and system of Reiki that emphasizes the development of compassion and wisdom within one's own life. Its profound teachings contain a depth of knowledge and understanding that is not present within other traditions of this unique healing art.

It is a method of healing that is built in part on ancient techniques that have thus informed the modern day expression of Reiki Jin Kei Do. As a form of traditional Usui Reiki, Reiki Jin Kei Do has much in common with other methods of Reiki but recognizes its indebtedness to the Buddho system which was discovered by the former lineage bearer; Seiji Takamori

OmAhHum

OmAhHum is dedicated to the development and expression of universal truths through Reiki and art. At present all levels of Reiki within the Reiki Jin Kei Do tradition are taught in a number of countries around the globe.

Much of my work as an artist is currently focused around exploring the expression of universal truths through symbolic means. As a teacher of Reiki I have therefore been very much concerned in developing my understanding of the function and attributes of the Reiki symbols in visual form. For me, the practice of making a piece of art is an extension of my own meditation practice and a means of expressing my understanding of the truths contained within Universal symbolic forms. Of course all of my work does not focus on symbolism and its tendency towards visceral abstraction. I also gain much satisfaction in developing my skills in more traditional representations of the world around me.
