All of the works in this section have been attempts to explore qualities of specific universal archetypes that are expressed through the visual form of the Reiki symbols. Mindful of the need as requested of me by my Reiki Masters to not reveal the look of the symbols to those outside of the RJKD lineage, I have been very much concerned with exploring the aspect of concealment and revelation that is intrinsic to each symbolic form at the same time. Importantly for me in this process is to come to a personal understanding of the energetic nature of the symbols. This itself is very much tied to the notions of concealing and revealing. As one works with the symbols in meditation, then more of the qualities inherent within the form are in fact revealed. All forms give off energy of a specific vibration and express something unique to that form as an emanation of the Universal Energy Field. This is after all how the standard primary rule of all artistic composition known as 'The Golden Section' works.
